Our History

Year of Foundation

3127, according to the Sol calendar

Founder

Velron Cassiday

Born on the ice planet Caldris IV, Velron Cassiday was a former archivist of the Star Library and a visionary director of early frequency films. In 3127, he founded Interplanetary Pictures with the mission of “telling the stories that get lost between orbits.”

He gained recognition for his experimental long-exposure sequences in orbit around Lysara Prime and for pioneering collaborations with synthetic actors — long before the development of Elyx-7. His debut production, Echo of Gravity, is regarded as a milestone in interplanetary narrative cinema.

Studio Ethos According to Cassiday

“A film is not a product. It is an event in the space-time continuum. And we are its chroniclers.”
– Velron Cassiday, Founding Speech at Virex-Delta

Mira Soluun

Mira Soluun later joined the studio as an actress and composer, most notably contributing to the frequency cycles of Crater of Horror and the underwater opera Nereida: Voices from the Deep. Though not a founder, she is widely regarded as the creative force behind the studio’s current era.
